About the Ship

The Carnival Horizon is a vibrant ship with spectacular ocean views and exciting attractions. As the sister ship to Carnival Vista, guests will find similarities between the two, but the Horizon provides a unique experience to all who step onboard. The adventure-seeker can conquer the SkyRide, a bike course that reaches high above the deck and provides excellent viewing opportunities. Other onboard activities include a basketball court, mini-golf, and a ropes course found in the sports area. Guests looking for a bit more relaxation can grab a drink at the Havana Bar or catch a show in the IMAX Theater to experience the 3D effect and impressive visuals. The Cloud 9 Spa also provides many options for a little pampering and relaxation after a full day of adventure in port. Plenty of dining options are available onboard as well, including Bonsai Sushi, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Cucina del Capitano, and many more. Guests will find Carnival’s classic accommodations onboard, but the Horizon also offers Havana suites featuring a unique Cuban flair, as well as Cloud 9 Spa staterooms and suites that include exclusive amenities. The ship has much to offer with its dynamic spaces, innovative dining options, and unlimited opportunities for family-friendly fun.

PORTS OF CALL

Miami, Florida

The Greater Miami area is home to a diverse array of cultures, cuisines and activities. Cruises along Biscayne Bay drink in the skyscraper-studded coastline, and in glitzy Miami Beach, beachgoers frolic against the backdrop of vibrant art deco buildings. Nightlife hot spot South Beach buzzes with activity into the early morning hours. Coral Gables' tree-lined avenues house notable landmarks like the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and the Venetian Pool, a historic 1923 swimming hole fed by spring water. The city offers plenty to do, with numerous museums and professional sports teams, marinas and yacht clubs, golf courses and more, but some visitors head southwest to Everglades National Park. The 1.5 million acre preserve hosts boating and canoeing excursions as well as wildlife-spotting treks to see alligators and manatees.

Celebration Key, Bahamas (Private Island)

Celebration Key is located on the southside of Grand Bahama Island and is divided into five unique spaces for guests to explore. Paradise Plaza™ welcomes guests ashore with live music and photo ops, and Starfish Lagoon™ is perfect for families, featuring waterslides, a splash pad and a selection of sports courts offering basketball, beach volleyball and pickleball . Calypso Lagoon™ offers lagoon-side swim-up and swings bars, a DJ island and more. At the adults-only Pearl Cove Beach Club™, you'll find ocean views, an infinity pool, swim-up bar and elevated dining options. Lokono Cove™ offers goods from local artisans, plus showcases Bahamian art, music, history and culture. The retreat truly has something for everyone.

Montego Bay, Jamaica

Jamaica is a colorful land with its white beaches, sapphire waters and emerald forests. The climate is warm year-round with little seasonal variation in temperature. Passengers docking at Montego Bay might browse the shops, tour Rosehall (said to be haunted) or Greenwood Great Houses, swim at the famous Doctor's Cave Beach or take a rafting trip down the tropical Martha Brae River.

Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands, an overseas U.K. territory in the Caribbean Sea. Though overfishing virtually eliminated the native turtle population in the 18th century, today the Cayman Turtle Centre on Grand Cayman teaches visitors about conservation efforts as well as offers the chance to see some species of the reptile up close. Wildlife encounters are popular and plentiful on this island; they include snorkeling with stingrays, swimming with dolphins and spying the brightly colored residents of the aptly named Starfish Point beach. A unique photo opportunity can be found on an excursion to Hell, a rock formation comprising a stretch of jagged black limestone peaks. While the idyllic Seven Mile Beach is the place to be for sunbathing and relaxing strolls, adventurous types can discover the island's scenery on horseback, Jet Skis and helicopter tours as well as submarine and glass-bottom boat rides.
